So Far Learned

Hamilton's second period class has been very informative. We have learned many writing and reading skills.
We have also learned that details create images in the readers' mind (point to your head). Mr. Hamiliton has also taught
us S.L.A.N.T and people skills. Most importantly, to give him his fifty five minutes.
The writing and reading skills taught, are very helpful in preparation towards college. Transitions help flow through
sentences and keep the reader interested. Another important writing skill, is the use of combine sentences with commas and
semicolons. Creating images with details is an important skill mastered to put the reader in the text. We demonstrate this
by using sign language and pointing to our head.
The first skill Mr. Hamilton taught the class is S.L.A.N.T. Sit up, listen, ask questions, nod your head, and
tracking with your eyes show the speaker your listening and learning. S.L.A.N.T contributes to people skills that will help us get jobs
and collaborate with others. We find all these skills very helpful in being successful and look forward to learn more.
Second period, senior english has been very educational. The reading and writing skills vital to become a good writer.
Creating images in readers' minds and S.L.A.N.T were the most important skills we have learned.
